Born and raised in the Philippines, Aimee moved to Texas at age 7 with her family. She is the youngest of five and is a proudly involved aunt to nine nieces and nephews. Aimee enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, game nights, cooking, singing, dancing, and anything music-related.
Aimee accepted Christ and was baptized at age 16. Her passion for working with adolescents derived from volunteering with a youth ministry for five years by building meaningful relationships with students and helping lead them to a Christ-centered life. Aimee’s undergrad internship consisted of working with pregnant and parenting teens in a drop-out prevention program, where she facilitated student support groups. For her grad internship, Aimee worked in a group private practice setting as a student therapist intern where she worked directly with clients from various populations.
Aimee obtained both of her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees, with a minor in Psychology, from Texas Christian University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Texas and is also currently employed by Communities in Schools of Tarrant County as a Program Manager. She thoroughly enjoys expanding her knowledge and plans to use her competence, values, and skills to help others in any way possible.
Sheryl earned her Masters in Counseling/Psychology from Denver Seminary and has enjoyed serving in various ministry and counseling positions both in the US and in Hong Kong. She also is a Certified Life Coach with The Ultimate Source, a faith-based personal development program, and is on the Advisory Board for Pure Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping girls who are rescued from sex trafficking. Being a former High School Home Economics teacher, Sheryl has always loved educating others about nutrition and the powerful role it can play in achieving optimal health and feels it is important to have a holistic approach to physical and spiritual health. She is a member of the American Association of Biblical Counselors and is currently enrolled in the Pastoral licensure program with the The Christian Association of Pastoral Counselors.
Sheryl’s passion lies in helping other women develop deeper intimacy in their relationship with the Lord and more awareness of God’s love and His presence in their daily lives. She’s especially devoted to teaching about “Immanuel Journaling”, a process that reveals the harmony between Scripture and Brain Science. This technique has been life-changing for her personally, and has helped so many others navigate life’s challenges and traumatic experiences. Her desire is to help people embrace their gifts and experience the joy and peace that God has designed for each of us individually.
Sara was born and raised in Houston, TX and moved to the DFW area in the Fall of 2012. Sara accepted Christ at age 13 and was baptized at age 18. She has worked alongside kids throughout high school through “Ready Set Teach” courses. Sara has also continued her passion with children through serving at FC Kids at Fellowship Church, as well as leading Mix Plus groups of adolescents through The Mix Student Movement, also at Fellowship Church, for 4 years.
